From crossing to Morlaix to visit the city and leaving the parking lot of the center we passed in front of this pastry. What a good idea we had. There is a great choice of original cakes, all as beautiful as each other, and we took 5 different cakes to taste them all. None of us were disappointed. With regard to the Kouing Aman, after some very disappointing essays (especially in Carantec where we were entitled to brioche with butter on, a horror), we finally found a real aman breton kouign, consistent with our memories. If a star is missing, it is because the almond kouign was a little too dry. But it remains undiscussed one of the best eaten during our stay (another excellent is the pastry...
It is not a restaurant, but a patisserie, with, without any doubt, the best cakes of Morlaix... Tradition, quality, rigor, whatever the cake, it is a marvel... Especially, don't miss the Breton specialties, such as the plum fare or better yet, the almond kouign! You won't find any better! Add to this the kindness of the staff, especially the boss! Thank you, don't change anything!
The Breton cakes are tasty and well balanced and the kouign amann is a treat! As it is sold at kilo we have the choice to take a piece larger or smaller according to our needs. Value for money is there, the products are really good. The reception is friendly, the shop is very well arranged and the products are well valued. I'm surprised to find this house so low in the rankings!
What a great discovery on Sunday in Morlaix. The plum Breton stuff is really just delicious and I definitely recommend it. He is well loaded in prunes and it is really a treat. Kouign Amann is also delicious. From crossing on Morlaix a Sunday after noon and the shop is open so please it gives you strength to climb to the 1st Floor of the Viaduct. We went to look for kouing amann before we returned. What a nice surprise! Beautiful pastries with balanced flavours. Kouing amann is very good and our friends loved it. One without fault!
Always fresh, the amann kouign of the Traon house is spitting on underneath with a mellow interior. A marvel. Stop mandatory before the city's visit.
