Pavilion is an amazingly unique experience from start to finish! visited as a belated birthday meal for my 21st birthday, and was taken care of by the wonderful gareth and the beautiful bar tender (who i didnt quite catch the name of). both of them were so attentive and generous, catering to all our needs, very entertaining and patient since we we’re a bigger party. the food was delicious, and getting to try multiple dishes instead of one meal was really nice, and different to the conventional startees mains and desserts! the cocktails were sweet and fruity (just how me my mum like them) and the customer service was top tier! could feel have asked for anything more
A super venue with excellent quality food, served beautifully. Even before sitting down we had admired food being brought to other diners tables. Our waiter Gareth talked us through the menu and the best way to order to maximise all our tastes and ensure everyone got choices of dish. Garetglhs personal service was excellent and we were so impressed with our food. The Sushi platter was impressive, as were the wagyu sliders and Korean Short Ribs. Many Thanks to the team at Pavilion, what an excellent evening.
We had a lovely meal at Pavilion the other day. The food was brilliant, so tasty and beautifully presented, but it was the service that took it to another level. George served us and from the moment we arrived he made us feel like VIP 's and couldn 't do enough for us. He explained dishes, let us know we could change the 'heat ' on the spicy food, kept the glasses filled and somehow always magically appeared just before we realised we needed him. He genuinely made our night.
Gareth was lovely and made us feel welcome and will be coming back cause of his excellent service. What a great guy!!! Hope hes here when next we come with more people. This is going to be our new spot from now on. We hope to meet the horses next time and feed them hay. Hope they're out of quarantine. Love you, bye

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, with a wonderful atmosphere and top-notch service! Gareth, in particular, stood out with his excellent food suggestions, friendly demeanor, and professionalism.
Those were the most exquisite chip in the world. The teriyaki salmon was Devine. Would recommend the sushi platter we’ll be back. also thank you to Gareth our wonderful server.
Had a great time, service was very quick. I’m coeliac and Gareth was a great help advising what I could have! Cocktails were also amazing.
Great food and one of the best atmospheres in Colchester. Lovely staff, particularly Gareth who really looked after us tonight.
