We were celebrating our 4th Year Anniversary and decided we wanted to find a nice romantic new place to eat. We are foodies and have eaten at hundreds of restaurants over the last 4 years. So for us, it was more about being our night but we definitely wanted a vibe and great food. So we researched Most Romantic Restaurants in North NJ and we came up to a list. From the list which many listed were restaurants we frequent often, we opted for Pearl as a new experience. We were not disappointed in any way at all. We went here for an event with 4 other couples. We had a beautiful outdoor table away from the other guests. The manager came out to greet our group. The wait staff was fairly attentive but could have been better. The food was excellent, really top notch. They accommodated our event well. The prices were reasonable for the class of place. I would definitely eat here or have an event here again.
Servers were nice and attentive. Food was good, mushroom ravioli flavorful, octopus was very good, and mussels were delicious. Finished our meal with the chocolate cake, which was also very good. They should improve their bread, it was hard and dry. I know it’s not a huge deal, but it sets the initial impression. The spreads and the olive oil served with the rolls were a nice addition, though.
I've been looking for a great authentic Italian restaurant for weeks (since moving to nj). Someone suggested the pearl. Called and made reservations with the sweetest woman. The hospitality was truly the best from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious. Max took such good care of us, and we truly cannot wait to come back again.
We ordered the strawberry zabaglione for dessert. Epic fail. Guy almost whisked his arms off and it didn’t come to right texture. Served it anyway. Ew.
Food Is Fabulous. The Owners are Amazing. One of my favorites places to eat. Definitely a gem amongst many restaurants in Ridgewood.
Very attentive service and food was excellent. We sat outside on a summer evening and it was perfect.
Lovely place and lovely people, however, I think there can be improvement all around.
