the new old woman hostess is horrible at her job. it was busy tonight which i completely understand but my family and i have been coming here for YEARS. im a young girl, i got there before my dad i asked her for a table for 3. she said “well do you have a reservation?” and then proceeded to roll her eyes and shrug her shoulders when i told her no. 5 plus years i’ve never made a reservation also being that im willing to wait. kathy the owner came out and the old woman proceeded to point to the people behind me and skip me and ignore me and kathy was like wait what about her? meaning me. then it got so much more packed so many more people came the old woman had went and hid in the back on purp...
The restaurant is gorgeous. The aesthetics are beautiful the moment you walk in. The service is good. We had a waiter on a Thursday night who was very knowledgeable about the entire food menu which was awesome. The food itself was a bit over priced and didn’t equate to the taste or worth. The sushi was delicious and fresh. The whole fish lacked flavor. The prawns are cooked perfectly and are juicy but for the price, not enough. Love the complimentary chips with sweet sauces and a horse-radish-like sauce. The hot tea is fantastic. The best thing about this place is the fried duck appetizers aka the dim sum.
I discovered this restaurant in the area I was visiting. It stated..Upscale Asian so we decided to try it. The atmosphere was fine and we ordered from their lunch menu. I was very disappointed that the appetizers arrived cold. I told the waiter and he brought us hotter ones. The main dishes arrived and the pork fried rice arrived cold. The waiter returned with the same fried rice bowls that were zapped in the microwave. This is what they consider upscale Asian. I mentioned the whole experience to a manager/ owner. Not even a complimentary dessert, nothing.
Reservations are almost a must here, very busy!
