We ate there Friday evening. Everything was delicious. We started off with appetizer sizzling shrimp served in a cute little cast iron skillet with french bread to sop up the most amazing garlic butter sauce. The wife got the crab balls with remoulade sauce. You could tell they were freshly rolled and not frozen stuff. The best is the soft shell crab dinner that I got. Never imagined the crabs would be so huge !! Fried perfectly. Served with salad and fries. A truly great experience. And the owner is a real sweetheart. Will be back soon.
This quaint little restaurant offers a delightful array of seafood dishes. We tried the fried seafood platter, boiled shrimp, and grilled oysters, and everything was excellent. However, the boiled shrimp were a bit softer than we prefer, which typically indicates they may have been cooked for too long. Overall, the food is definitely worth a visit. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. Just a heads up—parking is limited, so it's best to arrive early!
Best casual place for scrumptious seafood- fresh, cooked to perfection . Sounds funny, but they play the best 70’s rock music in background. I hsve had fresh crabs, crawfish, fried okra, oysters, shrimp, , French fries the best) and a friend loved their burger! It ain’t fancy but it sure is tasty. The staff are pleasant as is the owner. Just a great neighborhood place!
We ordered the shrimp boat in bread, seafood gumbo, and chicken and sausage gumbo. Everything was delicious and would have earned a 5-star rating; however, the chicken and sausage were not hot enough initially, and after reheating, they were just okay. Lunch was great that we got our orders fast, and it was on Sunday noon. Ordnete 1/2 shrimps Poboy with corn crab bisque, and the fried oysters lunch plate with fried Okra. Everything was excellent, the bisque had a little more crab meat in it. But the shrimp oysters were very fresh, and everything was perfectly fried. Definitely recommend.
The food was amazing! The seafood was incredibly fresh! It was my first visit, and the staff were very friendly. I was recommended this place by my friends, and it certainly lived up to their praise! The prices were reasonable too! We ordered the Pearls Seafood platter, and it was so generous that we even took some leftovers home!
Excellent quality seafood!!!! Very friendly staff and good service too. Owner personally offered to make me an alternative when I wanted boudain balls but they were out. Our food came out hot and fresh and SO much that even two of us couldn't finish it!! Crawfish was amazing!! This is our new spot for seafood for sure.
This place is fantastic! We ordered a fried shrimp po'boy and a fried shrimp platter. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. They are crazy nice and I love their boiled seafood. They don't have a menu for it yet but you can call and ask like I did. They'll even teach you how to peel your shells. It's definitely a nice and welcoming place.
