The food and service here are consistently excellent. The owner is very friendly and always takes the time to greet guests in the dining area, ensuring everything is perfect – and it always is. We enjoyed the seafood plate and the Catfish and Shrimp Platter. My husband particularly loves the Stuffed Crab. We also get our live crawfish from this place. Great service and top-notch crustaceans every time!
There was a limited menu when we went, so I can't rate what I wanted because I couldn't get what I wanted. I'm reading what I ended up ordering. The food is average. The fish wasn't seasoned, but it tasted fresh and was piping hot. The food was delivered to our table and the server was nice grabbing additional items for us. We will try this restaurant again, hopefully they'll have a full menu.
This was one of the best places we dined at during our trip to New Orleans. While we didn't try every restaurant in the city, I have to say that the shrimp with boom boom sauce here was not only more abundant but also better prepared than what I've had at much pricier establishments. It's truly a hidden gem, and I'm so glad we discovered it. I can't wait to return!
The food was served quickly and was hot. The $1.50 extra charge for sweet potato fries felt a bit steep, but they were quite delicious. The hamburger was slightly dry and came with just red onion, lacking in other toppings. The hush puppies became quite hard as they cooled off and didn't reheat well the next day. I had a great experience at the restaurant. I ordered the fish platter, which was lightly seasoned—a perfect choice for me since I need to limit my salt intake. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and the clientele was quite mature. It's conveniently located just 1.6 miles from the TA truck stop, so truckers, feel free to take a walk there!
Initially, I was taken aback by the fast food appearance of this restaurant, but after trying their delicious dishes, I was really glad I decided to stop by. While the crawfish are only available seasonally, they offer a variety of fantastic sandwiches and other menu items. Don’t let the fast food vibe deter you—this place is truly a gem!
Great seafood, clean restaurant and great service. Had an amazing meal of shrimp Po boy and gumbo, as well as a side of hush puppies. All were fresh, hot and delicious!! Huge menu that had me second guessing my selection, but the fresh shrimp was to hard to pass on. I'll be back more often if I'm in town!
I visited my relatives, and they suggested taking us to this restaurant. The seafood was really fantastic, and I loved how it was presented. My wife and I love Peck's, we've been going here for years and never have been disappointed one time. Very clean restaurant, exceptional fried or boiled seafood and the best hamburger I've ever had at a restaurant.
