It took 25 minutes for our waitress to arrive at our table, and then we waited another 30 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, it was cold. There was so much butter on the toast that we had to scrape it off with a teaspoon. The toast itself tasted like it had been sitting around since the order was placed. My wife's sausage patties were burnt, and my smoked sausage was also charred on both sides. The menu claimed they served kielbasa, but what we got was definitely a lower-quality smoked sausage. What a neat little place! We were looking for a new place to try and saw their specials listed on the Facebook 570 page. Their menu was generous, and the prices were great. The mood in the dining room was boisterous, with many folks knowing one another. The waitstaff was busy but very organized and efficient. I ordered the French toast and Corned beef, and my significant other had biscuits and sausage gravy and scrapple. Our portions were good and were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!
Terrible experience! This was one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. We were seated immediately, but it took the waitress 25 minutes to come take our drink order. After another 30 minutes, our breakfast finally arrived. The eggs were cold, the yolks were broken, the sausage was overcooked, and the toast was slathered in so much butter that it stuck to the roof of my mouth. The bill was low, but the food was simply awful. On top of that, the place was dirty.
Drove from Toronto to Baltimore, and our group made a pit stop here. Hands down the best diner food I've had ever not to mention the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The owner came right up to our table, sat down, and had a great conversation about their origins! Food was pleasantly flavorful but significantly less greasy than most other diners I've been to. Went there the other day on Tuesday for breakfast with my daughter. It was right down the street from her place. Staff was polite, greeted us once we walked in. Was very attentive while we were there Nice mom and pop place for breakfast. Will go again!!
An unassuming little hole in the wall with the sort of country charm and decent food you would expect from this sort of place. Smells a little musty but that's part of the experience, right? I'd have breakfast here again.
We visited as a family from out of town and the food and service was great! If you want real diner food and great service with a smile you should absolutely come here.
