Since I was 4 years old, Peggy's Lunch Box has been a cherished part of my childhood, a place where I spent nearly every day in that little building. The first table on the right brings back so many memories. It feels like I can still walk around this place as I did when I was a child. If I could do anything to keep this business going, I certainly would! Peggy is an incredible person, and I genuinely wish her all the best. It saddens me to see Peggy's Lunch Box close on April 30, 2022. I wish there was a way to gather donations to keep it open. I will forever hold this place close to my heart! A small independent dinner becomes more and more difficult every day. In 2020, many larger farms have broken down It is so refreshing to find a place that can still delish from scratches. Christina finds herself away to give you the house style dining room you missed. If I visit her, I can try her soups. Your wedding soup is one of the best I had. I really like her potato soup, and last visit I enjoyed her Un-stuffed Pepper soup. That was a surprise for me. After I had a bowl of a kind I had cups of two others this day. Most of my meals I took home later. Bypass the big chains that all serve the same frozen foods, and let your appetite have the pleasure of something that has taste and taste....
I love this place. The food and service is five star. A teeny bit expensive, but quality and serving size more than make up the difference. I take my son and brother there for breakfast whenever they visit. We 're going to Peggy 's for breakfast, right? They remember and want to go back. It 's an old diner atmosphere. They have lots of regulars, greeted by name by staff and patrons. But, don 't worry, you are welcome too.
I believe this place offers a unique breakfast experience in the area. It's a simple concept: excellent food, friendly people, and reasonable prices. Everything I tried was delicious and had a comforting, homemade quality. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuine—just regular folks. The space is quite small, which contributes to the cozy feeling, almost like dining at a friend's house or in their kitchen.

The food was great. I received exactly what I ordered, exactly the way I ordered it. Best cornbeef hash I've had since living in Ohio. I was there with two ladies and neither had a complaint. Everyone on the staff was nice and even humorous! I do not eat out often, but I am sure I will return.
