Don't be misled by the exterior of Peko Peko - from the outside it doesn't look all that inviting but this place turns out some of the freshest, healthiest and tastiest food I have eaten in quite a while. The meals have a strong Asian theme with sushi, rice-paper rolls, noodles and curry featuring prominently. There is a lot of variety - in fact the options of how you can put your meal together can be overwhelming when it all looks and sounds so good. And given the quality and freshness of the produce I thought the prices very reasonable. Vegetarians and vegans won't be disappointed, either. In my review of 13 July 2016 I wrote that $28 for two vegetarian ricepaper rolls and a small soup was far too expensive. The next day I went back and the shop agreed that a mistake had been made and recompensed me $11, bringing the total to the correct price of $17. Peko Peko deserves credit for that.As I wrote then, even $17 for these items seems expensive, and I am very pleased to see the business reduce the price of vege rice paper rolls.As I also wrote on 13 July, the quality of Peko Peko's excellent food has never been in question.
I came here on recommendation from friends for sushi and rice paper rolls. Arriving for dinner I was disappointed they had no sushi or rice paper rolls and weren't prepared to make more. So I got the teriyaki tofu which was a bowl of rice, veges and tofu. I think it was way overpriced and average tasting. Not enough teriyaki sauce at all. I waited almost 25 minutes for it. Price for 2 rice paper rolls is $11 which I find offensive. Will I go back? No
This darling little Sushi restaurant is fabulous. You can dine in on specials of noodles on the day or have take away. They really do do the best sushi in Perth and the sauces are fantastic as well. Always fresh, tasty, healthy and convenient. I would recommend this store every time. Have tried the sushi, fresh spring rolls and salads. All of them are excellent, fresh and tasty. Good fast service and you can dine in watching some of the best surfing action, or takeaway.
Boring food that is extremely overpriced. The vegetables are usually yummy and fresh produce but the flavours of the dishes are nothing to write home about. I have had some decent sushi in here but the Japanese mayo is about the best thing they do.
Pop in for some fresh wok cooked noodles with your choice of noodle, Vegies, meats, and sauces. All mixed up and steaming for dine in or takeaway. Gluten free and vegan options available. Pick up some yummy rice paper rolls or sweet raw snacks.

Freshest sushi in Doubleview / Scarborough area. So delicious, super quick service. The night time noodles and rice are also divine. A fab little shop for a fresh and healthy takeaway option
