We had recently tried an amazing Korean fried chicken place in Closter and hoped this would be the same but closer. Sadly we were disappointed. This review is based on how a business was able to turn a negative experience into a positive one. I order every now and then, and when I do it's always their delicious garlic chicken wings and fried rice. Today we received the wrong order, but not completely wrong, just the essential garlic sauce missing so a bit disappointed at first. This is how they got my five stars instead of one, they reached out via text acknowledging that they had made a mistake and also offered a credit before I was even able to place a complaint! all Korean fried chicken is not created equal - this place is great! and talking about transparence - which place do they see their kitchen in front of place? I wish I had lived closer! would repeat it in a heartbeat!
The food was delicious! This restaurant is a hidden gem, although not really hidden since they have locations on both coasts. The udon cream pasta was particularly tasty, with a nice touch of garlic in it.
