On the positive side, the staff was excellent and attentive, and the bar service was quick, efficiently handling drinks for our large group. However, the room we were assigned for our gathering felt quite cramped. Once the doors were closed, it seemed small and even a bit uncomfortable, making it difficult to mingle with the rest of our party, which was split between two long tables with little space to move around. Additionally, the lighting was excessively dim, making the room feel almost cave-like. The only negative feedback we received from anyone was about how dark it was. In a restaurant that serves such high-quality food, there’s really no reason to keep the lights low! We struggled...
Took the lovely Mrs. out for our 12 year anniversary . The atmosphere was phenomenal, food was the best I have had on the north shore! Jason was our server and he is absolutely a genius. This guy was not overbearing he was the perfect gentleman and knows his way around the wine menu . Will be returning for our anniversary every year and asking for Jason my newel bff! My husband and I went here for date night on my Birthday Celebration while we were vacationing in Salem for Halloween. The food was wonderful. Atmosphere was wonderful but busy. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 was the service was slow and I ran out of my drink quickly with no refills for the entire dining experience until right before we left. I had an excellent dining experience! The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very inviting. We dined in for dinner, and the total cost was around $100 per person. Both the food and service earned a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere also received a 5. I highly recommend trying the Wedge Salad, Crème Brûlée, and French Onion Soup!
We had a wonderful evening, thanks to the fantastic waitstaff. We started off with top-shelf Manhattans made with Blanton's and enjoyed plenty of popovers. Shanny ordered the short ribs, while I went for the special tomahawk steak—let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible!
