Let me preface by saying this was our 5th visit to this restaurant. All other times were 4 to 5 star ratings. This will be our last visit and will likely cancel the wine club membership. The worst of the rating is due to our waitress(J). She was one of the rudest servers I have ever experienced at an establishment of this type. We always experience the tasting menu with the wine pairings, we found the menu this time was weak and the food quality mediocre, particularly the temperature it was served at, mostly lukewarm at best. We will be going to Vineland moving forward which has always had top notch service. Very disappointing as we always used to look forward to our visits to Peller.
Very attractive restaurant. Service was excellent. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Had the chef's tasting menu with premium wine selection. Main courses were salmon and veal. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, but could have used at least one course that was a little more adventurous. But then again, this maybe adventurous for some. Wine selection was excellent, but servings overall quite small for the cost. Have eaten a number of times here and will continue to do so.
This restaurant is one of the ones on the Peller Estate winery. Honestly, I expected more from the food. The service is very good, the place is very pleasant, but I found the taste and taste nothing too much. Anyway, I kept my eye on the more laid-back restaurant next door, also in the winery. Ah! Get your pocket ready. It's expensive. It's worth to make a social with the boss and only .....
Over the years, my wife and I have eaten at Peller many times. This visit we were a little disappointed. No real WOW factor in the food. To be sure, both of our dinners were very good, the service was very good, the wine was very good, and you can not beat sitting on the patio on a warm summer evening. But nothing really WOWed us. But we will return as Peller is still a favorite.
We chose the five course tasting menu which was OUTSTANDING. The accompanying wines were great too. Service outstanding too. The view from the restaurant sets a very nice scene. It could be classed as an expensive restaurant but really given the quality of the food and service it is outstanding value. We will definitely return.
We went a la carte with a start and a main but still received the mise en bouche and the palate cleanser. so we got some of the perks from the set menu without paying the full price..white wine are ok - I would stay from the red wine (from the tasting I have done in the wineries)beautiful patio
June was an awesome tour guide and was very patient! She taught us a lot about the history and was very knowledgable about wine. I'm not a huge fan of wine and I still had an amazing time! She left a very good impression on me and my friends who were visiting from the states!
I organized a trip for friends to NOTL to enjoy the weekend with Peller's Winery Restaurant as the conclusion of our trip. Ryan, our waiter, was exceptional! The food was fantastic and the service just as fantastic. We can't wait to come back!
We had an excellent meal in the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and efficient. A great place for a higher end meal. Would recommend it in the area.
