We received an internet offer for a lunch menu at 55 euros inclusive of prosecco, two glasses of wine, mineral water, coffee and biscuits.We decided to try the place and it was a pleasant experience. We were seated comfortably in an agreable roomy place (the restaurant is located in a luxury hotel and shares with it its very spacious lavatories). The wine glasses were rather small but very good as was the prosecco. The dessert and biscuits were remarkably good, the reste interesting. Two disappointments: the internet offer had promised a choice between two starters, two main courses and two desserts and the menu on our table offered no choice of any kind while the white wine was a bit warm....
I had been booked a birthday meal in this beautiful and refined restaurant in the capital. the breathtaking setting to the subtle class, the safe taste of the Italian style and the mastered cuisine from end to end of the dinner. But at the time of dessert, on the cake I had chosen, the restaurant had set a birthday candle while we had not asked for anything. has my surprise, the manager explains to me that it was the waitress who understood that it was my birthday and discreetly and wisely wanted to please me and his initiative really touched me. I was absolutely conquered by this presence of mind and thank this exceptional waitress. Thank you, thank you.
Needing a break from the French cuisine on our recent trip to Paris, we decided to try this place out for dinner. When all is said and done, we likely won't go back next time we're in town. The service is excellent. The sommelier very knowledgeable (although would say the wine list could benefit with a few more mid priced options). But the food was was missing that wow factor for a Michelin star restaurant.
I would certainly recommend this little jewel to the inhabitants and tourists!__We came on Christmas Eve and had the menu tasting that is a fixed meal of 5 dishes
