Penny Black is currently one of my favorite places to Eat. It checks all the boxes. Great food, specials, events, staff, and management. Clearly this is a great place, not just to dine, but to work at. There 's 4 main sections of this pub, whether it was planned this way or not, it 's genius. There 's the staple bar area right at the entrance, there 's a pink, lush neon area of booths off to the right, which is opposite to a smaller, more unique area full of cool artwork and clever decor, complete with a fireplace. To top it all off, there 's an Outdoor Patio, which is perfect, when the weather decides to co-operate. I love Penny Black, and I hope to visit as often as I can. In the meantime,...
The bacon jam burger is a must try. It's so delicious and juicy. I had fries with it and the fries aren't anything to write home about so I would opt for a different side. Especially when the burger fills you up so much! The inside of the bar is really nice. They have done some nice upgrades. Great place for a date, hanging with friends or a work lunch!
Really enjoyed an impromptu memory in which use the bull fin. They have modernized a funky atonosphere. Know Kevin. Register by email for Specials and get a free Bretzel app that is really good with a red one. Service was great. Steak and salmon to perfection. Your version of an old fashion 'black penny' is really good. Plant, make this a regular stop!
Loved the atmosphere , service and the food. The Vegeterian Burger with that special Creamy Vegetable soup is classic. The pickled Vegetables in the burger added more taste .. the other person on my table ordered bacon and cheese burger and feedback is same. Overall a recommended place
