Regrettably, my experience took a negative turn when it was time to pay the bill. The waitress presented me with a check that showed prices higher than those listed on the menu. When I pointed this out, she explained that there had been a recent price increase. I let her know that I had anticipated paying the prices shown on the menu. After some back-and-forth, the owner, who also happened to be the cook, stepped in. She insisted that I pay the higher prices, which were not listed, and even threatened to call the police if I ever returned. This was definitely not the Southern hospitality I had hoped for.

I was a bit let down by the chips. The menu described them as "gourmet kettle chips," but I expected something homemade, and they turned out to be Lay's. On a positive note, the service was impressively quick. They don't have fountain drinks, but as soon as I finished my first can of Mountain Dew, the waitress quickly brought me another one. All in all, it was a great experience!
Great food and not high prices. We were a party of six and the people were friendly and the place very nice. I had sausage gravy and biscuit with a extra sausage.
