I was fascinated by the four and a half stars literally written on the sign underneath Pepe's Italia... Before they had opened! I respect their ambition, and to admit, it did make me want to see what type of restaurant it would be. I have only eaten their pizza, many times, I eat it every week. Their takeaway pizza's are all $20 and I can't stop eating them. Perfectly cooked, fine ingredients, delicious thin and crispy and chewy base, sweet napoletana, great cheeses, soulful eating. I eat every part of each piece, not a crust left, which is rare the crust is so delicious. This week I added a calzone to the list of my sampling, and so far every thing I have eaten at Pepe's has been delicious....
I have eaten here twice in the last month with family. The food is the most authentic Italian I have eaten outside of Italy itself. Love the homemade pasta and pizza with gluten free options. Arancini balls are amazing, likewise the calamari fritti. The staff are friendly, informative and attentive. We had a large table of 7 on our second visit and none of us could fault any element from the food, the ambience or the service. Do yourself a favour, next time you have a hankering for Italian food head to Burleigh for the real thing!!
We decided to try out this restaurant for dinner on Thursday night. The waitress was very nice. One of us ordered pizza which he said was quite good. I ordered risotto and my husband had seafood pasta. There was very little seafood in either of those dishes and much of the seafood appeared to be frozen - especially the very tiny prawns. There were a lot of small empty shells?? The wine was expensive and no Australian wines. It would have been great to have it BYO.
We hadn't been to Burleigh for some time and walked past Pepe's. the staff were so friendly and informative, especially when we enquired about gluten free options for pizza and pasta- they have both.Their pizzas were divine, thin crust beautiful toppings (less is more) very Italian and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend.

Discovered a week ago and have been almost every day since. Coffee after a beach walk is fantastic, especially if it is served with an amazing piece of house made biscotti. Luca is such a friendly barista. Great decor and ambience. Feels like a real Italian restaurant. Can't wait to try the pizza and pasta nights for $15.
Thanks to the staff for a lovely evening. Had a diavola pizza which was the best we have had since Italy. The pizza is just as good as Italy. Others had the risotto and arancini. They said it was lovely too. The customer service was excellent. Thanks for a lovely evening.
It took us a while to get there after Pepe opened but once we did...we have not gone any where else for our Italian fix since. Love it - try it - this one is way above it's current trip advisor ranking in Burleigh (and i have been to all of them nearly!)
Had breakfast here the other week. Everything was perfect, our meals were delicious and our waitress Alexa was super great and made our meal all the more better with her lovely service and attitude. Will 100% be back again and again!
