I'm Chicago Mexican. Come on with this dull rushed food.It must be supported and tailored to the factories around bc their front door is a slot gambling advertisement anx its the first thing you'll see. Even from the side pickup entrances, the slots are the first eye catcher you see over the decent Mexicab decor. Would go for nothing else than heavy pours just to sit in a cantina looking place, but for them to charge $24 on 4 garbage tacos and a small horchata is ridiculous.They won't even put prices on everything, so idk if a small drink costs as much as a large. Told ten minutes (empty place when I got there and waited 20Got home to realize tacos had no flavor. Not the al pastor or the asa...
It had been some time since our last visit, but we were looking forward to a reliable and enjoyable Mexican lunch. We decided to try the lunch specials, and I must say, the shrimp fajitas were the best I've ever had! The grilled flavor of the generously sized shrimp was spot on, and the colorful peppers were a wonderful addition. My husband also really enjoyed his enchilada combo. The service was outstanding; everything was delivered perfectly!
Placed a large online order because it's what my child wanted for her birthday.When I arrived they couldn't find the order and hadn't started it. (Noone told ME this, I speak Spanish and they didn't know I understood) I was told they were finishing the order up.After 15 minutes the order was done, but the quality was nowhere near what I've gotten from other locations.Lesson learned, I'll go to a different pepes
My coworker and I went for lunch to Pepes in Countryside, IL. We both ordered the Steak Fajitas Lunch Special , which is a half order. They arrived to our table quickly, and as you can see perfect in every way! Delicious and sizzling hot.Not sure if I will order anything else, because this was just impressive! The service was superb. We can't wait to go back.Chips and salsa were on point as well.

Pepe's Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for Mexican food cravings. It's conveniently located and has a nice vibe. The Fiesta Combination Plate is my favorite—it's packed with tasty flavors. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you're in the mood for quick Mexican food. You won't regret it!
The food was good and the service was friendly, but they charge an additional fee for credit card payments, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. We understand that some businesses have extra fees, but we were disappointed that it wasn't disclosed before we paid and left a generous cash tip.
It wasn't good The food was salty my parents parents margarita was $25 for a pitcher that was the size of a coke. Payed $200 for absolutely Terrible food that my 4 yr old hated and she loves food just over all a terrible
I met up with some old friends, and as always, the food was great. Since we can't find Pepes in Arizona, it's definitely a must-visit whenever we’re in town.
