Upon entering the restaurant, I was warmly welcomed by Pepe himself, who engaged me in friendly conversation, and I was also greeted by his wonderful staff. The restaurant is impeccably clean and has a cozy atmosphere, making me feel right at home thanks to the exceptional customer service. I ordered the macaroni and cheese dish, whose name escapes me, but upon taking my first bite, I was blown away by the explosion of flavor—it was pure bliss! I couldn't resist sharing it with my family, and they all had the same priceless reaction! I will certainly be returning as this place is a hidden gem that's so close to me, and I had no idea! Thank you, Pepe and the entire staff!
I absolutely love this place! I've tried several items from the menu and I've never been let down. The buffalo shrimp and Thai shrimp are both delicious. The fried chicken and mac and cheese are also fantastic. Every dessert the chef creates is a treat! On one occasion, while I was waiting for my food, the owner and chef were making macaroni salad and kindly let us sample some – it was so tasty! I would gladly go out of my way to pick up food from Pepe's. I recommend it to everyone I know. Additionally, not only is the food consistently great, but every staff member is a joy to interact with. I truly hope this place sticks around for a long time!
Friendly crew that prepares arguable most delicious takeout dish of New Rochelle.Buffalo shrimp or Thai chili shrimp with fries are the way to go. (Comes with french fries) Generous portion sizes and amazing fresh flavors every time.Small issues i have:-they give lemon slices that i could only see under a microscope (1/6 of a lemon/lime boys)-Fries are served under shrimp and get soggy in sauce, ruining texture of the fries. They should be served seperately.-Pricing is tough at $23 for a meal for 1 with cheaper options like avenue deli and chicken joes in the area.Love this spot when I'm willing to shell some cash for a tasty protein-rich meal.
We stumbled upon this spot passing through New Rochelle. Such great service and the food was delicious. The Thai chilli shrimp is so yummy, the hand cut fries remind you of your mom's, the Mac n Cheese was tasty and the greens did their job. I can not forget the fried whitting, 5 stars. Also, the black cherry punch is exactly what you need to wash it all down. Thanks Pepe's.

I got the fried *buffalo shrimp ? Excellent it’s not to hot has a slightly balanced sweetness to it. If you don’t know if to choose between the Thai and this, the Thai is just sweet but still really good. To me the fries weren’t too great wish they had mashed potatoes instead. Service excellent no where to seat so grab to go !Also the peach cheesecake you’re welcome ;
I absolutely adored this place when I first discovered Pepe's while I was pregnant. The owner was incredibly gracious and even treated me to a complimentary dessert. I really hope to see him reopen soon. I noticed he mentioned that his gas line was damaged and he’s currently waiting for repairs. Wishing him all the best!
Visited from PA... Food warms the heart. Only tartar sauce I like. Best mac n cheese, not greasy, rich, creamy, flavorful. Marshall is the kindest soul and was so friendly to me and the hubs. Love this place!
Food was wonderful on the days that I did go, I don't mind prices being high up, the food is good and I will not comment on the customer service, I just took it with a grain of salt and to each his own.
