If you Like a great Burger, the good old fashion way, like i do..then look no further. It's a big call, but i have lived in Cairns for 20 years, the The Pepper Box Cafe at Stratford does the best. It's a small cafe, but it's Big on Value and Flavour. They are a genuine Cafe, with Coffee, Chai, Burgers, Wraps, Salads, Full Meals and friendly service. Produce is fresh not "tired", and just quietly, i don't like sausage rolls, but again...try and go past one at this Cafe. They are how a Sausage Roll should taste. Do yourself a favour and check it out.
great food at great prizes, but the staff was outstanding, i be back. very refreshing. The food was ordered and cooked al within 20 minutes and good to see in tropical hot cairns a restaurant paying attention to customers needs. We felt welcome even with my 3 small children.
I came here after reading burger review. Burger was okay, small man who works there was really rude and muttering constantly under his breath. Limited Seating due to the rain and no coverage
Absolutely excellent I'd advise anyone to go there eat their lovely food the bacon cabonara is off the planet and the lasagna mmmmm and the kids loved it too

Oh we love this little hideaway! Service with Cairns character and yummy food! Even opened for us to coffee during the aftermath of a cyclone!
Classic simple breaky. Tasty with lots of bacon, home cook feel. Good coffee too. Nice location with the train going by
Pepperbox is a great little cafe serving good quality food at great prices. The salads are great value and big serves
