I usually have a great experience at Pepper Jack's, but today was disappointing. I ordered the chicken Philly and was asked if I wanted onions, mushrooms, and green peppers. I requested no mushrooms and asked for jalapeños instead. They confirmed my order and started preparing it. While they were making my sandwich, I chatted with them about my fries. Once I sat down, I noticed that they had added more mushrooms than jalapeños to my sandwich. The line was quite long, and I didn’t have time to wait again, so I tried to remove as many mushrooms as I could. The food at this restaurant is quite tasty and well-seasoned, reminiscent of a genuine cheesesteak from Philly. However, the service is lacking. I’ve been there twice and encountered the same staff, and their attitudes are quite off-putting. It often feels like my presence is an inconvenience when I try to place an order. The ordering process makes me feel rushed, and I've seen staff rolling their eyes and muttering unflattering comments about customers, just loud enough to be heard. Sadly, I won’t be coming back to this location, and I suggest opting for a different one instead!
I can't understand why this place isn't always busy! After finally deciding to give it a shot, despite the lack of customers, I was genuinely impressed by the amazing flavors, generous portions, and the high quality of the food. Additionally, the young staff members are friendly and attentive. This has quickly risen to become one of my top five favorite restaurants in the area!
These Phillies are absolutely delicious—a definite winner! The flavor is fantastic! However, customer service can often make dining experiences a bit challenging. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. I want to give a huge shoutout to the sole staff member working that day! She stayed calm and collected despite the long queue and handled orders and checkouts with impressive efficiency.
I paid $10 for a tiny serving of chips and just a tablespoon of queso, which felt like a complete rip-off. The takeout portions were much smaller, even for the main dish. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. Food rating: 1/5.

Food was good. They were a little busy and there was a wait but employees were empathetic and friendly. They moved with urgency.
