Went for the first time this week for evening dinner and it's excellent. Husband and wife team serving quality food with lovely staff. Best pork belly I've tasted and the steak was cooked exactly how we asked for it. Looking forward to going back when we're next in Louth. Some previous reviews are abit down on the upstairs room but I'd say it's a really enjoyable space, has original fireplace feature with a nice view out onto Cornmarket
simply made in time for the breakfast menu. faster efficient service brought our eggs and avo down the luke in a neat fashion. I always prefer it down there, there is much more of an atmosphere. up feels a bit cold and empty for me, but his less delicate pastness where you sit up there, which is a plus. also, right, which of these 2 photos is the right way to their stacked hero selection to be the worst, top-beste, bottom is crappest?

I had filet steak for the main who was excellent. I'm not a fan of mushrooms to be replaced by sweet. the green peppermint brandy sauce was very beautiful. delicious mengue for dessert and excellent redmalbac wein. the staff was helpful and friendly. great location on the maismarkt. only - would it have been lacking on soft furniture to damp the tiny noises above.
What a lovely little hideaway... The pictures on here do not do the place any justice so I took a few myself... The staff are so lovely with such great ethos... The food is soo tasty and very well presented. We were situated in the upstairs window a must when visiting. Quite romantic in a rustic kind of way. Loved every minute. Thank you.
As per usual, a lovely cake, nice hot chocolate. Very accommodating, considering they were booked up. Still found us somewhere to sit.
