My family is a big fan of American comfort foods, and so the Perkins fits right in! We are new to the great state of Montana, and we’re very excited to find this great restaurant in Helena where we live.Our men’s BSF group goes there every Monday night and our family has been there a bunch of times separately from that, and every time it’s been delicious, much more affordable than most places we used to eat in Commiefornia, and the service has been STELLAR!Our favorite server is Ray! Ray is the epitome of amazing! He seems to know what we need before we ask most of the time. Went here on a whim. Noticed it was very busy. Our server did not introduce herself and we figured maybe she was just busy. Then we noticed how friendly she was to all of her other tables. Not sure why she was not attentive, friendly, or considerate at our table, but our food came out warm so we couldn't complain. Had to ask the hostess for a Togo box since our server was no where to be found for over 10 minutes.
As long as you make it in before the Sunday morning rush (10 am-ish) they have you seated right away. Our server was busy but still pleasant and on top of things with our Order. The food was hot and tasted great this time around. they have definitely improved since my last visit. (5 stars if there was a way to separate the crowd waiting at the door from our table)

Came from out of town and haven't eaten at this place probably four times. Everything is been very good from the California eggs benedict, Pot Roast Sandwich and turkey with gravy and stuffing. The staff was wonderful.
We have our Bible study there each week and our waitress, Kelly, knows what we order and is on top of of her service. It's a great place to eat.
Chris is the greatest. He keeps that restaurant running smoothly. Mr. Pete the owner is great too. Great atmosphere and food. Great staff.
