An out-of-town friend wanted to meet here for dinner. As I pulled into the parking lot, I wondered if the place was open. The main sign on the street is blown out, like it had been damaged in a hurricane. Also, there’s not great signage for the main entrance. Showing a little boldness, I ventured in. The inside is a different story. It is meticulously clean, noticeably so. It’s quite possibly the cleanest Perkins I’ve ever been in, and I’ve got some experience. I was greeted and seated by a wonderfully warm and friendly waitress, who took great care of my friend and I for our two hour reunion. She was a delight who made the experience special. Ok, this business is TERRIBLE!!!!! Don 't get me wrong, but the waiters are really nice willing to help you but that 's not the problem. A HUGE problem with this place is, We literally saw the chef SMOKING OUTSIDE. We were doubting he washed his hands because when we went inside we see this lady at the front desk and confront her about the smoking chef. She said "oh yeah it 's my brother, he ALWAYS washes his hands. we incredibly disbelieved this cause when we left the restaurant, SHE WAS SMOKING OUTSIDE!!!!! But let 's get to the main point. I got there and was told 5 to 10 minute wait…. It was 45 minutes. Just myself. was seated at my table and asked for a water and a straw took about ten minutes to get the straw after I got the water I ordered strawberry crispers and a magnificent 7. My waitresses goal was to avoid me at all cost. She brought my crispers my water was empty she didn’t refill it til my main coarse arrived. She was extra chipper to all tables around me but little as possible was her goal to speak to me. My main coarse was good. My crispiers were quite the site. Once I went to pay the cashier made sure to call the waitress over like oh see no tip. I tip off service and the waitress gave terrible service.
My personal experience with this place has been bad and way too often my last visit will be just that the last. From the burnt hash browns to the raw egg in my omelette and this is just from my last visit. Our waiter assumed I wanted burnt hash brown and this is why you never assume. I cut open my omelette and nothing but raw egg. I’m sure you guys charge enough for the food and I know nobody or nothing is goin to be perfect but cmon now there shouldn’t be an issue each time. The customer service at this location is an absolute joke. No one welcomes you in and it feels like they want to have as little interaction with the guests as possible. The food is good, but the service, cleanliness, and staff were not attentive and the space was not clean or up to par with what you would expect with an experience at Perkins. Unclean tables, cutlery, and cups do not create a good experience.
Friday night. Place almost empty. We had a party of 8. Waitress was Awesome. We bought at Strawberry pie upon arrival. Birthday celebration. Manager gave us a hard time about the pie we bought. Refused to cut it up. She said that pie was for eating outside the restaurant. Was it a bad pie? Why irratate the Very few customers you have? No wonder the place was nearly empty.
Making customers stand and wait when there are open tables because they are short a cook Seat us and wait instead of us standing

Our server DeDe was the most warm and welcoming person! This is our go-to perkins due to the wonderful service!
