Note: this review is for the Watson house accomodation at Perricoota Station not the restaurant. This is a large house with bedrooms sleeping people bathrooms. We recently stayed for nights for our daughters wedding along with the grooms parents. The...bridal couple stayed also on the second night. Extremely overpriced for basic accommodation. The charge per room was per night. There was also a stuff up with the invoicing for the rooms (from their end) and the mother of the groom was approached by the accomodation manager Jodie right before the ceremony in front of wedding guests demanding more money be paid. Our family spent nights at Perricoota Station along with another family, and the Watson’s House ticked all the boxes. The house was beautifully renovated but has kept the charm of the art deco style from the exterior through to the bathroom. With bedrooms...and bathrooms it easily accommodated us all. Three bedrooms rooms had beautiful views of the cropped paddocks and felt like adult’s retreats, the other rooms were bunk beds which suited our children perfectly. We had the pleasure of staying at the White House with my family and a friends family in total), we found the white house spacious and well accomadating for us all, with three large bedrooms and two kids bedrooms, we had plenty of room...to spread out, the lounge was spacious with an option of a fold out couch, spacious kitchen and dining area provided everything we needed. The two bathrooms proved very convenient and laundry area (although we didn't need to use) had everything you could need! The outdoor area was amazing with a large tv, huge fridge and bbq, also heating and fans, the zip track blinds were very handy also. Recently stayed at Watson House for a wedding. Had issues with the code to get into the accomodation. We were stuck standing out side for quiet some time with small children. Staff were rude when they attended to fix the code issue, no apologies given...just rudely laying blame. Once in the house guests attempted to shower before the wedding, no hot water in the house. Had to inconvenience the bride hour before her wedding to ask for the management to come back again and rectify the issue, we had to go with out a shower until that evening when the issue was fixed. The food and great atmosphere is excellent unfortunately through no fault of the restaurant there were people? (for want of a better name) that apparently have never been to a restaurant before instead of sitting they stood for ages around our table and theirs in...groups hindering the staff trying to wait on other tables an ignoring how their rudeness was affecting us trying to enjoy the magnificent food we received. We thank the staff for a free glass of wine they gave us for the inconvenience these rude people gave us, we will be back but we certainly hope never to meet up with the others ever again.
We stayed at the Stations Homestead over Easter and to say it was EXTREMELY disappointing would be an absolute understatement. The Homestead is in an appalling state and should not be hired out to guests in its current condition and especially not at the rate...being charged. From holes in decking to lifted tiles, missing skirting boards, derelict filthy rooms, exposed wiring, rusting pool and MICE just to mention a few things. This accommodation is not safe for families and the advertised pictures on websites do not match the accommodation you are presented with when you arrive.
The packing shed at Perricoota Station was the venue for our daughters wedding in March A beautiful spot for a wedding and The Packing Shed was a wonderful venue for the reception. The food was very tasty and decent size servings. The deck area...overlooking the river was lovely and the whole venue had a wonderful ambience. The couple running the restaurant couldn’t do enough for us on the day and I found them to be very accommodating, unlike the owner of Perricoota Station Jodie who I found to be most officious unwelcoming.
Worst ever! pre booked and arrived early, even ordered before majority of the people arrived for lunch just to make sure we didn't wait to hours later and out meals still didn't arrive!!!!! Pretty disgraceful. Entrees were ridiculously priced for the size! Very disappointed

Waited hours for our lunch!! Asked politely about wait time and were told we were next- x tables served before us and still no meals. Left before meals were served! Will not be back.
