We stayed next door last week, did not notice this place when we went for drinks at Players next door. My daughter saw it and noticed they have happy hour, with great value cocktails. Surprisingly work organised our social club function here tonight. OMG the...service was amazing, the waitress was very friendly. The nibbles that were provided were delicious, best we have ever had for our work functions, working nearby we have tried many places along Lygon St. Great place to catch up for drinks, will definately try it for dinner. Service and food amazing,. Highly recommended. Cannot comment on price or menu as it was a organised work function.

There are many restaurants to choose from along Lygon Street. During our stay in Melbourne for a work conference, we decided to take a walk and find a nice restaurant. We stopped at Nero and sat outside on a beautiful evening. The service was fantastic, with Italian waiters who were friendly and engaging. Some of us ordered pizza and fish, but I went for the carbonara which was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had some Italian beers (I can't remember the names) which were cold and reasonably priced. Nero is a great restaurant with excellent service and a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

came here and enjoyed eating with friends the eating was great and cooked fresh the workers are wonderful and know there is a witness the atmosphere of the place is great, it is always packed here and coffee is wonderful too.

has developed into a very popular lygon street hot spot. the lunch breaks vary from average to adventurous. coffe also varies. mostly large service

try this restaurant for breakfast and they will not be disappointed. great ambiente, service and eating, a great opportunity to begin the day.
