We tried to find some Chinese food furing our stay in Gold CoastWe ordered the noodle, congee, sweet corn soup and dumpling.Since we come from Asia, we wish to have similar quality of Chinese food. The noodle and sweet corn soup are on average. I can't say the dumpling is bad, but the taste is a bit strange and the cook put too much rice wine that ruined the taste the vegetables and meat inside.The Congee is terrible. We ordered white congee, but the congee we got is in light brown colour. It's seems that the cook just use the unwashed pan to mix the cooked rice with some water. Congee should be cooking the rice slowly until it turns to congee. We don't mind if they told us the congee is out...
We went to Surfers Paradise for Mother's Day weekend, my daughter and myself. Looking for somewhere for dinner, and we came across Peter's Awesome Dumplings & Fried Rice, well, it may be a small place, but it is very big on flavoursome food. We shared a number 41, Mogolia Beef and ordered a medium steamed rice to go with it. The Mogolia Beef was spicy, but not too spicy, and we both thought it was awesome. We certainly didn't leave any. We would go back again and would recommend to all. They do take away as well.

Located in the walkway between Orchid Avenue and the beach, (next to The Avenue Restaurant) is the place to quickly get very good Chinese food at a reasonable price. Lay down your $10 or $15, point at a picture to make your choice, listen to a few minutes of Sizzle, Bang, and Clatter, and before you know it you are ready to eat super fresh delicious food.

A great experience - we asked for our veggie dumplings to be fried! They were hand made on the spot and delicious. Couldn't Have asked for more! $10 for 10 dumplings...
We have enjoyed our evening food here and took some good fried rice varieties which we liked too much. one should always go and enjoy the food here.
We enjoyed a few different dishes, cooked on the spot . Will definitely return on our next holiday here. Great food, great value.
Freshly cooked whilst you wait. Tasty, delicious and quick. So worth a visit. Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Thanks Peter

Had the special grill chicken with fried rice for $12 and I can't fault it! Will be coming back for sure.
Peters Chinese & Dumplings are the best in town,the staff are very friendly & are quick to serve you.
