Went there for the first time last week and noticed the 50's look theme of the restaurant which I loved!. Place is clean, no dust bunnies around and same goes for the bathroom. Told Peter i was in the mood for a good big juicy burger. Placed the order and had a seat till I was asked what I wanted on my burger. The toppings are all fresh and they are very generous with them. Burger was awesome, juicy, cooked to perfection and a bit of a crisp to the exterior of it, the onions rings are BIG, crispy and delicious, the poutine was excellent, it had a perfect gravy to cheese ratio. I just got home to Kingston after attending a Jays game and decided to stop for a meal at Pete's Big Bite in Whitby. The food was fantastic! I had the delicious Big Bite 1/2 pound burger, and my wife enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak, which was also excellent. The staff were very friendly, and one of them even brought me a delightful milkshake after I complimented its appearance when I saw him taking pictures of it. With great food, exceptional service, and an interesting atmosphere, you won't be disappointed. I plan to return with my family next time!
I've eaten here many many times over the years as this is local for me for work and I've introduced a lot of people to this place. I was back again last week and brought the family. The food continues to be amazing and they're sticking to their core and I appreciate that. My son's hooked on their Cookies and Cream milk shakes and I still have to go for the foot long chill cheese dog. Always a good price and a good value for what you spend. The place is very clean and very kid friendly and a fun environment. I look forward to the next time I'm in.
I've visited Pete's twice so far and I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit. Today, I tried the 911 burger (a full pound) and it was incredible—cooked to perfection and absolutely satisfying! Great place to go either to hang out and check out the cars on Friday night, or to have dinner with the family (or both if you're lucky! . Great food and friendly ownership and staff. Highly recommend the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and the poutine with bacon. Oh, and of course, the milkshakes!
Been going since i was a kid, Its more then just amazing flamegrilled burgers but a whole oldschool dinner experience. They also have very friendly staff, i recommend this place to everyone i meet. If you haven't tried it you're missing out.
Pete's Big Bite offers fantastic food and has a wonderfully friendly staff. I highly recommend everyone to visit. Be sure to try the special steak on a bun, accompanied by their delicious onion rings. It’s my favorite meal!
