We more or less wandered into Soo Chow Garden, and left very impressed. The hostess is incredibly friendly, and the food is excellent. Entrees cost slightly more than a typical takeout place, but once in a while, it's worth the upgrade. Mainstays are the soup dumplings and cumin lamb. BYOB is a plus, too. Been many times and will go many more. This is the top spot for authentic Chinese cuisine in the area. Another favorite of mine is located in Shanghai, although it is on the pricey side, it is definitely worth it. Our go-to dishes include suppenknödel, chicken or mushroom in a brown sauce, bark mei fun, and garnel w snowbsen in garlic sauce – all of which are consistently excellent. And now, they even offer delivery! Woohoo!
Very disappointed at both the food and service. Two out of the three dishes I ordered were messed up. One was served with a main ingredient missing. The beef and celery stir fry dish was served up with pork instead. Seems to be lower quality of meat as well. Our family all have pretty tough stomachs usually but this one was hard to digest. Probably won’t try it again.
I originally planned to go to Blackbeard Ramen, but changed my mind at the last minute because the exterior of the restaurant looked just like one in China. I decided to try some dishes from Southeastern Chinese cuisine and, being from Shanghai myself, I can confirm that they were authentic. It felt like I was back home!

Very authentic Shanghainese dishes. We ordered the takeout and they advised us the price has increased a bit. Pan pried pork bun( 6 pieces $10, homemade zongzi (a sticky rice ball with braised meat wrapped in bamboo leaves $5, soup dumplings 6 pieces $8, stir-fry veggie $20 but they were all delicious ?.
Once you dine at this restaurant, you will indulge in incredibly fresh and high-quality food. While the service is satisfactory, the true highlight is the delicious cuisine. This spot is highly recommended for a night of top-notch Chinese food, although it is on the pricier side.

the fish. it was said that the fish was still alive before he was cooked. the flesh was muddy. Huhn was hard to tweak.

Had lunch. Food is good. The wait staff attentive. And prices are reasonble.
