I usually stop in for the Thai food. Always good. Today I went in for the Fish and Chips. I got there 10 minutes before they were to open (1100 am) I was on chat with another company, so I didn 't mind waiting a bit. However, after 11 am came and went, I phoned the restaurant to check if they were opening. No reply, but I did leave a message that I was outside of their restaurant and have been so for half an hour. The restaurant finally opened 1 hour 15 minutes later than their posted hours. I asked the young feller who took my order what time they open. He told me 11. I mentioned I 'd been sitting in my vehicle for over an hour for them to open. No apologies. My family treated me to a birthday dinner that was so delicious! What an absolute treat. Our family’s usual Thai restaurant closed during covid and we struggled to find a new favourite spot. This is now THE SPOT. So handy since my son and daughter in law live just outside Devon. The ice cream for dessert is a neat touch and will be really nice in the summer months. Our server was delightfully friendly.
