The Bacon Burrito was a disappointment. It felt like a pre-made, reheated item that was too small for a proper meal. It was so dry that I had to rely on my homemade salsa to make it edible, and the price felt unreasonable for what I received. The Ecstatic Iced Coffee was decent, but I’ve definitely had better coffee in other places. The Philz Iced Tea was just average and didn’t meet the standards of my tea-loving spouse. Overall, it was a major letdown.
If you're not familiar with Philz Coffee, you definitely need to catch up! It's absolutely the best coffee in the Bay Area—utterly fantastic! There’s no sour taste or upset stomach, just pure, smooth deliciousness. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10. Nowadays, I mostly drink Philz. I joke that I should get stock options for the amount of coffee I buy from them!
I'm a beginner at Philz Coffee, and I've only tried one drink so far, but I can't help going back for it. Whether it's morning, afternoon, or even late at night (if they were open, haha), I crave it! The iced mocha tesora with extra cream and extra sweetener is a must-try, so give it a shot and let me know your thoughts!
I absolutely love Philz Coffee! I've been a fan since my undergraduate days. During a recent visit to the Bay Area, I was thrilled to find that it still tastes just as amazing. I frequently order from here since I work nearby, and the food is consistently delicious! I even requested a special message on one of my drinks, saying "I'm pregnant," and they did an amazing job with it! I really appreciate the staff at Philz. Thank you! ❤️
The Ancho chili burrito is overrated. It was very dry, small, and lacking in flavor. It desperately needed sauce, but there was none provided! The drinks were excellent, as always, but I would recommend steering clear of the overpriced food.
What's not to love? Delicious hand made pour overs, gorgeous single origin coffees, friendly staff and conveniently located with lots of accessible parking.
