Visited this restaurant after reading a good review in a Melbourne newspaper. They were absolutely right, the Pho soup is excellent and a must try. When with friends I'll order a bowl of the soup with a side of spring rolls which can be wrapped in lettuce and dipped in a delicious sweet chili sauce. Service is friendly and you'll have plenty of change left over for dessert.
Nothing warms my soul the way a hot noodle soup does on a cold rainy day. And pho is up high on the list when it comes to favourites. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place sooner it’s definitely become a top choice. The ingredients are generous and the broth isn’t too salty either. The beef isn’t slice too thin and the noodles aren’t overcooked. 10/10
I highly recommend this restaurant for its fantastic Pho and other Vietnamese soups. The service is good, the place is clean and efficient. The crab sour soup is wonderful, as well as the beef and chicken Pho with egg yolks. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is always lively due to it being busy.
My friends and I have been dining at this restaurant since we were 18 years old. I won't disclose our current ages, but I will say that this place still serves the best soup in Melbourne! Best pho in melbourne. My family’s go to place for Pho since it opened back in the 90s. Small place but quick service with delicious food. Our favourites are the chicken beef special and the beef and tripe special. Smoothies are also to die for. Highly recommend.
Best in Western Suburb. Even better than Quang Vinh a couple of doors down. I would come here more often if i lived closer. And tge service is pretty good with none of the usual Lip Service you get from other Pho places
Very generous servings, fresh assorted meats, in the premises of the first Vietnamese restaurant in Alfrieda St, excellent ambience and food. Always coming back!
