Pho Ly Quoc Su is a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant situated in Phillips Square, Montreal. During a 7-hour layover, I took a bus downtown for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Although the staff didn’t immediately notice me when I quietly settled on the outdoor patio, once they did, the service was fast and attentive. My meal came quickly—I had summer rolls and vermicelli, both very tasty, and finished with authentic Vietnamese coffee. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Lunch Price per person: $30–40

Pho Ly Quoc Su offers absolutely delicious dishes! I enjoyed the beef and shrimp spring rolls as well as the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef soup). The menu clearly reflects homemade flavors prepared with care. It’s a fantastic spot for dinner when you're in downtown! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20

While the atmosphere is somewhat average, rated at 3, the menu offers a great variety, making it easy to find something delicious to enjoy.
