And excellent Congee. You would not think it would be that hard to find at Vietnamese restaurants, but of the several I have been to these past few months, this was the first to have it. And not just one, but several. Small, unassuming storefront location in typical strip mall. Usual casual furnishings. Friendly staff. Started with a few spring rolls very tasty, not too sticky or crispy. Then on to Congee with chicken. Very large serving, just enough chicken and veggies served nice and hot. And of course all washed down with Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Had to go all they way to a Toronto suburb for some excellent Congee. Need to go back.
There are a lot of Pho restaurants in the area, but I find that this location is physically the prettiest. What brought me in was the beautiful decor and great location, but what keeps me coming back is the awesome Pho broth. The ratio of noodles to broth is perfect as well. The amount of goodies that get included in the bowl is mind-blowing. So far, they have been open for a year, and I go weekly to eat there. The staff are so efficient but not chatty, which I love. Tasty beautiful Pho, but the rest of the soups are incredible as well.
I've been there a couple of times, love that Pho! They're nice enough to change the noodle for me to egg noodles since I prefer then to be rice noodles. On a cold day, their Pho is fantastic! I was surprised by the appearance of their spring rolls the first time since I'm not used to them being deep-fried but they are delicious! Go eat here.
Found what looks like phlegm in my noodle soup, which causes me to believe the server spat in my food. He had a smirk on his face as he set it before me. A nice place with great furnishings... bright and airy. Soups and Pad Thai were good and Beef and Broccoli were good. Hot, good portions and served quickly. The tea was great and was a good price for the amount of food we had ! Thank you. We will be back !
We found this place by chance and decided to give it a shot. The pho is really good. Our standard is the well done beef and the beef or seafood tom yum. Perfect combo of meat to noodles. We have made this our weekly haunt now.
I had heard a lot about this place and I was very happy- all of what I had heard was true.. This is a really well run place and the food quality is very good. The service is prompt and the portions are good as well.
