I have visited Pho Nam eight times now and I really enjoy it. The food is freshly made, which is crucial for salad rolls, and the dishes are not the typical Vietnamese fare found at many other restaurants. Tonight I tried the Satay Beef Vermicelli (number 50 on the menu) and it was not just beef coated in satay sauce, but beef cooked with sautéed onions and peppers in a rich satay sauce. The combination of warm and spicy flavors worked well with the noodles and the cool lettuce, carrots, and sprouts typically found in a vermicelli dish.
