So sad to say I had a bad experience I was recommended to this place so came in super excited even took a nice little picture when I got here. They asked us at register if we were ready to order I ordered 2 chicken phos and two cokes sat down and waited A chubby short girl then yells 'your food is ready ' so I get up and she has a bag. She saw me confused and she said was it not takeaway? ' To which I responded 'no, but it 's ok i can eat it I like that. ' With a pissed off look she was like no no no no and took the food to the kitchen and proceeded to say if you want to eat here you need to sit down. (Sorry idk how this place works)a lady sitting down even commented to me they are very rude...
Another rainy day in Cali and wanted something to warm us up...pho! There is ample seating and the customer service was great. We got our food quick too. You don't have to wait for your bill, just walk up to the cashier and pay you can easily split the bill too. What we ordered: Shrimp Pork Spring Rolls yummy and the peanut sauce was sweet and they didn't skimp out of the crushed peanuts Brisket Pho flavorful, lots of noodles, and packed on the meat Thai Iced Tea lacked flavor and wasn't sweet Overall, yummy and filling, definitely warmed up and filled our bellies.
Having grown up in an area with a large Asian population, I was surrounded by Vietnamese restaurants on every corner, but I never really enjoyed pho. One day when I was feeling sick, I decided to give this place a try because there aren't many good options in Whittier. I opted for the vegan pho and went in with low expectations. To my surprise, I was pleased with how flavorful the vegan pho was. The portion sizes were decent for the price, and I'm not sure what they do differently, but this is the only pho that I actually enjoy eating.
Phenomenal!! Delicious!!! Superbly tasty! There's nothing but positives about this restaurant. Sam treats everyone with the same service that he was raised with. He always makes us feel comfortable...always extends his food knowledge on us...always has a smile. The pho the overall menu is of excellent quality and this place deserves and award for the energy the vibe and most important for the owners treatment of its patrons. 10 out of 10+
The restaurant has recently changed ownership. The food is excellent. However, there is one server who could improve their customer service skills. This tall young man wears glasses and can come across as a bit brusque. Nevertheless, you must try their egg rolls. The main dishes are also delicious! And don't forget to order the Green Thai tea to accompany your meal. Overall, the food quality is rated 5 out of 5.
The food here is amazing!! I personally go with the rare steak pho. Its always served hot and service is rapid. It's a great spot to come on your lunch break. Their prices are very fair and they offer a lunch special. The owner Sam is sweet and takes care of his regulars. Thank you Sam!
This was a superb place to eat ??. The service was fast, food came out within minutes and overall it was a great and delicious experience!
