I’m a big fan of pho and usually enjoy it around three times a month. I visited this restaurant with a friend for lunch and we decided to sit on the outdoor patio. After receiving the menu, we both opted for the house special pho. Our meals arrived quickly and the portions were generous! The broth and ingredients were both tasty. The service was excellent; our server checked on us often and topped off our water three times. The reason I'm giving it three stars, however, is due to the overwhelming number of flies in the area. We spent most of our time trying to swat them away while eating. Personally, I’m not a fan of having flies on my food.
The broth and service were excellent! The owner was present when I arrived, and she was very attentive and friendly. However, I have two suggestions: first, the soup could use a bit more broth, as it tends to become quite thick with all the ingredients. Second, the meat slices were a bit too thick. While thicker slices can be good in some dishes, pho really benefits from thin slices of meat for that tender and flavorful bite. These slices were thicker than usual this time, which may be due to new staff or an issue with the slicer.
So disappointed , my friend and I loved coming here until today. We noticed that our broth didn?t taste the same and we told the man politely if he could possibly make us a new bowl. He gets loud and starts telling us to leave if we don?t like it. Weproceeded to tell him we?re not trying to be rude at all and he was trying to say we were lying just because ?no one else saidanything?. He said we should?ve said something from the beginning but we were trying to get his attention for 5 minutes.Horrible customer service.

Not accommodating for veganism here. ? I was so looking forward to veggie pho. Had to settle for sauteed veggies and rice And they didn't even lower the price even tho I didn't get any of their meat The sautee sauce is too thick. Unimpressed with veggies. For flavor maybe it's ok but for health they need to improve

I wanted to order Vegetable Fried Rice, but it wasn't on the menu. The woman gave me a strange look, charged me $18, and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I picked up my order, I honestly thought they had given me the wrong dish because it looked so simple. My vegetable fried rice was disappointing—it had no vegetables and resembled more of a side of plain rice.
Pho Pioneer is my favorite spot for pho because it’s affordable, budget-friendly, and stays open late. There's always a table ready for you. I always order the Number 2 without tendon or tripe. Their egg rolls are fantastic! Plus, they offer complimentary hot tapioca pudding after every meal.

One of my family’s favorite places to get pho in town. The broth is flavorful, the noodles are generous, and the portions of meat are hearty—the bowl is as big as my face. The service is prompt and attentive, and the restaurant is clean.
