This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The delivery arrived a couple of hours after I ordered it and it seemed like it had been sitting there since I placed the order. For example, the spare ribs sauce had leaked to the bottom of the container. All of the dishes were dry, lukewarm, flavorless, and lacking seasoning. The meat was dry and tough, making it impossible to eat. I ended up throwing everything away because it was completely inedible. This was an expensive lesson that cost me £21.
Very disappointed was told an hour but waited 2 two and half hours for a delivery, everytime we rang to find out where it was was told another 20 minutes, in the end they stopped answering the phone to us, food turned up cold and tasteless, been a loyal customer for years, will go elsewhere from now on, plenty of other Chinese takeaways that will value our custom
This restaurant is hands down the best Chinese spot I have ever been to. I am a huge fan of Chinese cuisine and I have tried many places, but this one truly stands out. The establishment is well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the food is incredibly fresh.
We used to use another Rayleigh Chinese Takeaway but felt that the quality had declined. Phoenix were recommended to us and wow, what a difference! They always remember us when we order which is lovely. And their food is excellent quality! Highly recommended.

I have used Phoenix chinese for the last 6 years and not once had the food been cold, wrong or not delicious. I can’t recommend highly enough. I do wish they’d take a card over the phone though. Would be really helpful.
Used to be our favourite but after latest very disappointing experience we shall go elsewhere. Ribs tough with sauce not very tasty. Chicken balls dry. Chop suey tasteless with tough meat.
Lovely meal, best Chinese I’ve ever had; we order regularly duck, egg fried rice, salt and chilli crispy chicken; chow mein all lovely everytime!!
love this place. always good value/ use quite a bit and never disapointed. nice people. on halloween saw them giving sweeties to the local kids.

Good food. Fair price BUT they DON'T accept card payment! WHAT? 2021. Covid. And DON'T ACCEPT CARD or CONTACTLESS payment.... FAIL!
