The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, with staff who were attentive and friendly, making the entire experience delightful. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a great takeout dinner!
I was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a large portion for £3.30, but the serving size was laughably small. In fact, many other chip shops offer much larger small portions than this place's large. The price is outrageous—honestly, I could buy 4kg of potatoes for that price! To top it off, the chips themselves were terrible. I've learned my lesson, and I regret to say that they will not be getting any business from me again. Next time, I'll make the effort to go to Yeovil instead. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10
I really wanted to give 5 stars for the food, but finding two hairs in my fish and chips completely changed my experience. It might just be a one-time issue, but it left me feeling physically sick after having to pull hair out of my mouth. If there hadn't been any hair in my meal, I would have had no complaints about the taste. It's such a shame. Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
Excellent food, fish and chips with mushy pea fritters were amazing : . Previously had Singapore noodles which were great too. The chips here are the freshest and most delicious I've ever had. This is a true chip shop! It's now our go-to spot whenever we're craving tasty, classic chip shop fries.
