Beautiful setting, the most amazing food, but was a little confused. The website allowed me to book a 915 dinner but when we arrived the door had the closed sign on it, peering into the glass entrance, someone opened the door to allow us in. In letting them know their closed sign was up they told us that the kitchen was closing in less than 5 minutes. So although the food was divine and the service we did receive was attentive it was a rushed experience, didn't get a chance to really look at the menu with rushing to decide. A little shame. Wouldn't miss this little gem, just make your table booking for a tad earlier :
I regret to say that the food was quite disappointing. The ceviche was overly salty, and the potatoes in the papas huancaina were undercooked. The eggs were runny in the center and excessively drenched in sauce. We requested some bread before our meal, but after 10 minutes, they brought us cold, stale slices. The lomo saltado was acceptable, though again, it was too salty and lacking in meat portions. Additionally, a small bowl of sticky rice to accompany the lomo costs $4.00. I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we left feeling very let down.
Very tasty and creative cuisine. Brought my mom here for Mother's Day but thought it would be ideal for dinner dates with friends. Loved the Peruvian flare with hints of Japanese. The paella had uni stirred within and was delicious! Ceviche topped with fried calamari great! But the crispy duck in blend of hominy and resoto in green sauce topped it all Mad Good! I started with this oaxacan (named) cocktail that was fizzy, smoky (peety) and fruity which I really enjoyed. Mom seemed happy too people watching. Parking was a bit of a trick but liked the cafe's facade in bold deep red.
