If you take away one thing from this review, let it be this: drive to Hagerman instead. The food there is a thousand times better. While the service in both places is average, the quality of the food in Hagerman is outstanding. Out of the four meals we ordered in Artesia, only one was eaten. The only similarity between the meals in Artesia and those in Hagerman was the noodles. I apologize for being so blunt, but I hope this saves someone from wasting a hundred dollars on food that ends up getting thrown away. That said, the calamari and tea were both good.
I ordered the 10 Bolloco pizza for dinner, and it was amazing! It arrived hot and fresh! I ended up taking 99% of it home because I had eaten most of the bread with marinara before the main dish came out. It was a bit crowded during our visit, so next time we might try to go when it's less busy.
We've been visiting this restaurant for years, and it consistently delivers excellent service and delicious food. While there have been a few off days, over the past decade, it has remained a dependable choice for great meals and bread. I always recommend stopping by here.
