I visited piccolino while I was close to the business. I used to drive past the restaurant and thought how beautiful it looked and that I would check it. first I dismissed piccolino that it had only 3.5... stars on the tripadvisor and went to the nearby ego restaurant. the restaurant was heaving and I thought I would go back to piccolino, which after that saw warm and welcoming and much quieter inside! I'm so glad I did it! the personal was fabulous from the moment I arrived and the service was excellent until I was gone. This restaurant serves inauthentic Italian cuisine with extremely high prices. The wine is overpriced, and they even charge £4 for a side of chips to go with a tough steak that seems to be from Aldi (unfair to Aldi steak). The meat descriptions are misleading. Overall, it was not a good experience and the cost was more than a real Italian restaurant in a more prestigious area like the West End. Save your money and avoid this place.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance with staff who are friendly and accommodating. The wine selection is consistently good. This restaurant never disappoints. It is great with kids, making us feel welcome as soon as we step inside. The food and wine are excellent, and the staff is always attentive and accommodating. Our family will definitely be returning for many more visits in the future!
pleasant atmosphere. personal in the regular helpful and welcoming. weine are always from a good standard. I like eating because it is consistent for taste and quality. sometimes it may seem overpriced, but I will continue to use this restaurant.
