The food itself was quite enjoyable and the location is nice, but the customer service was disappointing. Namely from the gentlemen running the front of house who paraded through the dining hall as though he was the star attraction and not the food. Sadly he failed to meet all the simple essentials of service by not meeting eye contact, not saying please or thank you and certainly not straining a smile. He looked as though I'd really inconvenienced him by ordering food at his restaurant.
This Italian restaurant was the best find during our stay in Sydney. With little time before our game at Olympic Park staff were able to fit us in a window of opportunity between bookings. Our meals came out quickly and it was the best. The pizza was fantastic, great variety and tasty. The veal scallapini and gnocchi was devine and great service. This is a definite booking for our next Olympic Park concert or game night. They made it so easy for us and I cannot fault the food.
We arrived without a booking, running latish for an event at SOP, with a group of 5 on a very busy Friday.We were greeting as though we were "regulars" and that we were no trouble at all. Out host asked if we were going to the event and then made great recommendations to ensure the we would be able to have great food and be on time.When the food came and was Brilliant!Couldn't ask for more.
Came here for a quick dinner on a Friday night without a booking. No problem getting a spot as the restaurant was only about 3/4 full. The staff were very friendly.Had the Calamari followed by the Lasagne. Both we were good. I excepted the calamari coating to be a bit more crunchy, but it was still full of flavour. Tucked away in SOP this is a great little Italian restaurant. The dishes are very big so the price is justified. Service is fast and friendly team. The aroma of the food being served where beautiful. I had a pizza and was very yum and big enough to share. Was in sydney Olympic park for a week for work and enjoyed my meal at piccolo.
Unfriendly staff, we don't have a booking we walk in as a couple we looking forward for a nice quite meal but we been told whatever allocated to us that's all we given a table around with kids running around with skating shoes inside the Resto so we walk out decide to go somewhere more hospitable and quite dinner .
Went with my husband and daughter this weekend because it was within walking distance of Qudos Bank Arena, the food and service was absolutely wonderful. I had the Chicken alla Boscaola (main) and it was just gorgeous!
Had a delicious dinner here on a saturday night, arrived just as the football crowd were leaving so plenty of room and fairly quiet. Pizza were beautiful and service was prompt and efficient. Will be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We ate here 5 times while we were in Sydney for 11 days. Everything I ate was amazing! Service was awesome! I would highly recommend this restaurant! They have daily lunch specials too with great prices.
