A real GEM in the centre of Reading. Picnic never fails to delight, truly delicious food , life changing cakes we ate salad box #1 with feta, lentils, salad leaves and broccoli with a bright kick of chimmichuri and WONDEROUS cinnamon cake thank you for asking) and the best coffee in Reading, bar none. Comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere with excellent staff who can’t help but make you smile. Go once, go often. You won’t regret it,
I’ve been frequenting Picnic for a while now. I think it’s about 2 years. I visit 3-4 times a week and always order the same boring earl grey tea. Staff are always friendly and amazing. Owner is great. Food looks brilliant and the cakes are mind blowing. All made in house and baked fresh daily. It’s these little gems that make reading great! Cheers
Wonderful visit to Picnic today. Had the most wonderful halloumi and butternut squash salad. It was so busy but the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return.
