Came here on a late night about an hour and half before they closed after Sojo Spa and they were very accommodating. They had a live DJ that night and he was playing some old school early 2000s r&b that had my friend and I singing our hearts out! We gave him his props at the end of the night! Needless to say by the picture, we were VERY hungry so ordered 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, and 2 sides LOL We had so much food they had to give us an additional table to fit it all. The food overall was about 7.5. I personally thought my calamari could have been cooked a little longer and the sauce they put on top I was not the biggest fan of. I started with the wood-fired margarita pizza, which was a great choice and a hit at our table. I also ordered the tangy BBQ ribs as an appetizer, but they tasted off, and nobody finished them. For my main dish, I had the filet mignon, but it looked more like a NY strip folded over itself – it was quite unusual, and I wish I had taken a picture. The taste was just okay. My wife had the Chilean bass, which she enjoyed. I decided to try an espresso martini, but it tasted more like cold brew coffee, and I wasn't impressed. Magnificent Manhattan skyline views from a restaurant on a pier in Edgewater! Pier 115 is a trendy sports bar with industrial chic modern decor, located right on the Hudson River. The driveway to get to the restaurant is not much to look at think construction and potholes but it kind of adds a little mystique to the whole experience, almost like walking into a speakeasy (like you don't know if you went to the right place, but when you're finally there it's amazing! . The vibe is a little clubby and energetic. The food is delicious and the waitstaff is friendly and welcoming. Service was fast (though, we did come on a Monday night . I will definitely come back and also recommend this spot.
I visited this restaurant for their lunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the sushi! Given its location in Edgewater, I suspect they source some ingredients from the nearby Japanese market. The restaurant offers various happy hour deals on cocktails, wine, and meals. We decided to try a refreshing cocktail made with mango juice alongside a glass of chardonnay. For sushi, we ordered a California roll, spicy tuna, and a salmon roll. Each roll was absolutely delicious, and the stunning waterfront views of NYC created a fantastic atmosphere. Pier 115 was an absolute delight. We elected to sit outside and it was a smart choice. They have well separated tables, with coverings, attentive servers, and scenic views of NYC. The General Tso's Cauliflower, Coconut Shrimp, and Hummus appetizers were perfect selections and recommended. We ordered Bison Burgers and they were succulent. So Juicy and were delicious enough without ketchup. For dessert, we shared the Warm Cookie Skillet and.....O.M.G.! Just order it and indulge. I highly recommend Pier 115. Come and enjoy a great meal and stunning views of the greatest city in the world.
First time at Pier 115 at it was such a great time -food was delicious enjoyed lamb chops were very good -octopus was a little over cooked but flavorful -wings and coconut shrimps pretty tasty. Drinks very good did not disappoint. Pizza-ceviche.-and bbq ribs were delicious. Most I enjoyed was the amazing view can't wait for warm weather so we can seat outside on the dock. They also have a disco outside the the restaurant for further entertainment. Will visit again for sure. Thank you, Elena for being such a great server. As for the food, it was merely okay—definitely underwhelming, and I don't consider myself a picky eater. The ricotta pancakes were overly sweet and lacked the usual fluffiness. The frittata was a disappointment as well; it was small for almost $30 and tasted like rubbery eggs—definitely needed more cooking time. Overall, I'm not sure I would come back for another meal, as my experience was quite lackluster.
