This is the top-recommended place by all the locals and there's a reason for that. I love places where the kitchen is on display to the diners. It sends the message that they are proud of their work and provides instant ambiance and entertainment. We ordered bruschetta to start and as good as it was it was rivaled by their own fresh bread from the oven served with EVOO and balsamic for dipping. The Barbabietola salad was also delicious. Nearly full by now, we opted for the fresh pappardelle with roman oxtail ragu and swooned over the rich flavor (and the match with Bokisch Tempranillo). This will be a can't miss spot for future visits as the service was great as well.
I loved this place before I got to the front door! We went from the parking lot through a large garden full of tomatoes, basil, peppers, squash and herbs. I was fortunate that the porchetta was available, crunchy on the outside and uncios inside, on top of creamy perfect polenta. What a treat! The oxtail ragu on papperdelle is another challenging dish beautifully prepared, rich and delicious. The calimari was pieces of steak instead of rings. Service was pleasant and engaged. Prices and portions were significantly better that at my home close to San Francisco. I plan to be back over and over!
My husband surprised me with a date night after a difficult day, and it was truly amazing! This was our first visit to the restaurant, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The waitress who served us was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, sweet, respectful, and professional—truly the best I've ever encountered! Every time she passed our table, we made eye contact and she always greeted us with a smile. It's clear she really loves her job. I wish I could remember her name, as she made our experience so special. We will definitely be returning!
I received a warm greeting by friendly staff, and was treated to some absolutely wonderful warmed bread. The salad was really nicely made and the dried cranberries were a nice touch. But the pizza...... spectacular crust, nice tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil. And my drink glass never went dry, a true accomplishment. Great food, wonderful service, nice atmosphere. Well worth a trip here.

This is the best place to wine and dine right off the highway in Lodi. The restaurant is known to be super busy so make sure to make reservations in advance. The waiters and staff are super friendly and the drinks are great too. I recommend ordering through pasta ? and ask for the specials. Parking: Parking lot gets very full and they have valet service too
I was really disappointed with Pietro's today. The spaghetti was bland and had no flavor, and the portion size was very small. This restaurant used to be my favorite, but after today, I won't be coming back. I don't know what went wrong—maybe they have a new chef. I paid $71.00 for the worst spaghetti I've ever had.
Excellent. Had ravioli and sauce was delicious and ravioli was tender! Have to request the homemade bread and dipping sauce as well.
This place is amazing, the food, the menu, and the atmosphere are a wonderful experience. I really look forward to eating here! ?

As always, Pietros has fresh ingredients and seasonal amazing dishes. Pizza and salad are always a must-have. Also affordable.
This became our favorite dining spot in Lodi. Everything we tried was delicious.
