We stopped in by chance for lunch on our way from Marvao to Evora at this charming, casual restaurant, and we are so glad we did. The menu was diverse, for such a quaint restaurante, and lunch was delicious. My husband had the pork and I had the chicken dish. It came with soup, the main course served with French fries and rice, and a dessert. I had home made chocolate pudding the kind not from a box. Delicious. I give it five stars, not because of the atmosphere, but because the food was well prepared, with a balance of salt and spices, and cooked in the traditional way, so it was juicy and tender. If you're heading into or out of town, this is the spot to stop.
