I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years, but I have never had a bad meal here. The garlic bread is delicious and the calzone was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and a bit old-fashioned, but charming. The tables are close together, which some people may not like, but it was never an issue for me. We always enjoyed the house wine and the staff were wonderful and very friendly. I never felt rushed during my meal, but that could be because we always booked a late reservation.
The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service. The decor and atmosphere are both great. The starters are very generous in portion size. The tagliatelle had a lot of sauce, almost like a soup. The pizza, specifically the tomato and cheese, was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my peppered steak and left a clean plate. The desserts that our group tried were okay, but nothing outstanding.
beautiful small restaurant with genuine, satisfying and delicious Italian food. the meals were freshly cooked, and served cake hot at the table, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. the menu gives vegetarian options on request and actually meant everything on the menu apart from a small number of elements can be made vegetarian!
the best calzone I've ever had! For decades we've been coming and found a better pizza.
