Gluten free bagels that are just as good as normal bagels. Trust story. We never thought we'd find a gluten free bagel as good as modern bakery and today I think we found it. Wow. We got the sesame toasted and damn was it good. We also got a normal sesame which was just as good but honestly not better than the gf. The lox cream cheese was pretty tasty. We got both bagels toasted. They had that perfect chew. Absolutely floored that we found it right after the Brooklyn half on our way to the hotel. Just keep in mind they are not a fully gf establishment so there can be cross contamination and they even have signs stating this. We'll be back and we're both having gluten free bagels from now on...
I was in the mood for some bagels for breakfast (because it truly is the breakfast of champions) and decided to stop by Pio Bagel. The efficiency of the staff was impressive, as they swiftly moved customers through the line, processed orders, and generously spread cream cheese on fresh bagels. It was a great experience! I ordered two bagels—one with nova and scallion cream cheese, and the other with lox spread. Including the tip, my total came to about $24. The bagels were fresh and absolutely delicious; the nova had a fantastic flavor, and the lox spread was generous with the lox. Overall, it's a solid deli!
I'm not sure about the bagels, but I ordered pancakes, eggs, and grits, and everything was cooked to perfection and very fresh! The pancakes were absolutely delicious! They also fulfilled all my special requests on Grubhub exactly as I asked. Next time, I'll remember to request butter on the pancakes and to mix the cheese into the grits while they're still hot! I recently tried Pio Bagel and get an assortment of bagels. I really enjoyed the whole wheat bagel. Service was fast and friendly. If you need a place to sit, Pio Bagel doesn't really have much space. But they are close to a few parks if you're willing to walk a little. For a quick bagel pickup, I'd recommend!
The breakfast items are quite good, but I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and unfortunately, the cutlets were old and unappealing. The chicken lacked any texture, making it impossible to chew. I ended up having to throw the chicken away and just ate the bread and lettuce instead.
Been coming here for years on and off depending on my work locations. Glad to finally review! Great hearty bagels, great variety of loaded cream cheeses! Filling fresh and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Consistent. Make bagels on site
