I encountered one issue during my visit. When ordering at the counter for takeout, the payment machine aggressively prompted me for a tip. When I selected "no tip," it insisted on confirming my choice by saying, "Wait a moment, you didn’t choose a tip. Are you sure?" I’ve never experienced such pressured solicitation for a tip before. I brought this up to the staff, and they agreed, mentioning that they didn’t set up the system. Despite that, it was a bit of a distraction from an otherwise fantastic experience. The floating restaurant on the dock, basking in the sunshine, was delightful, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious.
There's a good reason this place is always bustling! The pizza is outstanding! We visited as part of the pickle pub crawl, and the included appetizer was a small pepperoni or Hawaiian pizza. With six slices, it was by far the most generous appetizer on the crawl. We also enjoyed several beers and a lovely cider. The patio is fantastic, situated right by the water. We watched seaplanes, the black ball, and the water taxis come and go. There was no wait to hop back on a water taxi from here. It has a family-friendly vibe during the day too.
Absolutely delightful location vibe! I appreciated that they offer dairy-free vegan cheese for their pizza. It was actually my favorite consistency of almost any DF cheese I've had, but I had to drop 1 star because it was quite salty. The crust of the pizza was absolutely phenomenal. As an informational note, to the best of my recollection, all seating is at elevated tables which would not accommodate those using wheelchairs.
Arrrrrrr.. it was opening day at our favourite Pizza shop that is open Spring to Fall down at Fisherman’s Wharf. What a delicious delight. The awesome thin crust and fresh cut toppings wow.. savoury. We topped it off on their newly expanded and renovated out door patio with a cold locally brewed Pint of beer. What a great start to Spring Break. Thanks to the staff what a great meal.. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! I ordered the BBQ chicken, and my girlfriend chose the meat lovers. We also tried the honey garlic wings, which were fantastic! I did have the hot chocolate, but it wasn't that great; it tasted more like warmed milk. Aside from that, everything else was excellent!
Great place to eat after a morning whale watching tour. Kids loved the food and the staff were very accommodating with some of our food allergies. Prices a tad high when the final bill came for the family, but food was worth it and will definitely add this to our list whenever we visit Victoria.
Best pizza I've ever had!! We had the Black Beard Greco...and should have got a bigger pizza haha it was so good!! The people who work there were incredibly friendly too!! Would highly recommend if your visiting Fisherman's Wharf!
We ordered 12 pizzas for a group. They were on time for pick up, and everyone loved the flavors, some saying best pizza they ever had. Great experience. We would definitely go again, as would the 30 others who ate with us. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The wedges… oh my!! So so good. The best I’ve ever had, I’m not sure what secret magic seasoning they put on them but they rocked my world!
