This pita restaurant is one of my favorites. It's easily accessible with ample parking in the plaza. We have had the chicken and beef shawarma wraps so far.Their wraps are generally enormous in size and stuffed with fillings. My only complaint was that the sauces with additional charges weren't clearly labelled.. So during my first visit, I added two sauces and some pickled veggies that all had extra charges. Lesson learned (This has since been fixed and they're all clearly shown)The meat and sauces are all flavorful. They make an in house hot sauce that packs a punch.If you're looking to get a good bang for your buck, you'll definitely want to check them out.
Poor customer service. They’re very sneaky. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap that costs $10.62They asked if I’d like garlic, hot sauce and hummus. They made no mention that simple garlic was 75 cents extra and hummus was also 75 cents! Garlic should not be an added cost. C’mon guys!They asked what veggies I wanted and I asked for some beets amongst other things. Again, they made no mention that the beets are also an extra 75 cents!The shawarma is not very authentic. They prepackaged the meat into little plastic containers and heat it in the microwave!When I got to the cash register, my $10.62 shawarma wrap was a whopping $14!!Not worth visiting.
This is a good pita place, fast and friendly. My daughter likes mild to no spice so they let her try the rice first just in case. She liked it.We got a chicken and rice special and a chicken shawarma pita. Both were good and sizable.One thing to keep in mind they will ask you if you want hummus and garlic sauce, these are not included, they are .75 cents each extra, so for the two items that's $3 extra.For the 2 items plus one bottle of Pure Life water and tip $32.65. So a little pricey.Overall, a well run place to get some good food fast.JamesVegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options.
My God!!! Probably the biggest pita I've ever had. In fact it's so big that it's large enough for two.The ingredients are fresh and bountiful with the service being very receptive. My meal was also expedited quickly and at a great price for what I receive. My only quam was that the garlic sauce repeated and repeated later on, so bad Infact it caused me to feel a little nasus. Lesson learned, no garlic sauce next time. But... rest assured there will be a next time.
Been going here for a few years now, the move from the old mall to a new updated location makes the place looks great and somehow made the pitas bigger and better. The pitas are actually very good, crisp and with the recommended sauces they complete the pita. But the REAL KUDO is the insane size of the pita, this is a meal for 2. I seriously recommend this place, and I won’t ever be moving away so I can continue eating here.
I have gone to pita deli in Oshawa for years. Today was the first time I was very disappointed with my order. I order a fatoush salad. It must have been sitting there for a while cause when I got it home the pita chips were all wilted and was very disappointing. As it tasted very mushy . It is usually very fresh and
Every time we come to Pita Deli there is a line, because the service is good, and food is good and at a decent price. Portions are a good size. For small eaters if you order a gyro or shawarma ask to have it cut in half so you can easily store and have your uneaten portion at a later time.
Never ever in my life have I seen something so disgusting. I am unsure how all these great reviews are here, seems like they bought their reviews. Do not go to the restaurant. They microwave their bland chicken and freeze their rotten lettuce. I have never hated a place more.
A wonderful place to buy healthy and fresh fast food. Custom made wraps with fresh ingredients. I love their falafels with the fatoush salad inside it.The homemade baklava is delicious. You can taste the honey inside them.You won’t be disappointed!!!
